Therapeutic Treatments & Approaches:
EMDR is the gold standard for treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Whether your trauma is related to military service, a single accident, or years of chronic stress, we help you lower the volume on those memories.
When your brain is "stuck" in a loop of fear or panic, EMDR can help reset your nervous system. We work with clients across Oakland and Genesee Counties to address the root causes of intense anxiety and deep-seated phobias.
Processing a major loss can feel impossible when the pain is constantly re-triggered. EMDR allows you to honor the memory of a loved one while softening the sharp, debilitating edge of traumatic grief.
Assessment:
Identifying the “target” memory or trigger.
Bilateral Stimulation:
Using guided eye movements, taps, or tones to activate both sides of the brain.
Desensitization:
Gradually reducing the emotional disturbance of the memory.
Installation:
Strengthening a positive, adaptive belief about yourself (e.g., “I am safe now”).
As an EMDR-trained therapist and a military veteran, I have seen firsthand how this treatment can transform lives when talk therapy isn’t enough. My mission is to provide a safe, structured environment in Southfield and Grand Blanc where you can finally put the weight of the past down.
A Mission-Focused Approach to Trauma: I specialize in helping survivors process PTSD and deep-rooted trauma. I provide a safe, direct path to healing for the Metro Detroit and Flint communities.
